Gabrielle Turnquest

She is the youngest person to be called to the bar in 600 years and at just 18, Gabrielle Turnquest has already become used to questions about her age. By 12 she was ahead of her classmates. She started her first degree at the age of 14, graduating two years later on the day she also graduated from high school. "I guess it feels really good to have a law degree," she says, "rather than the age part of it."

The entire BVI and the world mourns the loss of a towering giant and a most selfless man on 3rd April, 2014. Dr. Joseph Archibald QC, the Gold Standard of the legal profession in the British Virgin Islands, leaves behind a legacy of excellence, determination and tenacity in the legal profession; and an abiding faith in the saving power of his God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is my memory of my friend.

Sleep on and take your rest. You have fought the good fight, you have finish the Course, and henceforth there is laid up for you a Crown of glory; but not only for you my friend, but for all those who love the Lord's appearing.
